'My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but my own. I am the Force; I can clear my obstacle before me or I can get lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my own destiny' — Elaine Maxwell (American Author)

Windows of Opportunity (WOO) is a tax exempt 501©3 non-profit organization. It was formed to provide young people who are ages 6 - 24, with a healthy, safe, supportive, & positive environment in which they can be encouraged to discuss themselves as persons of infinite worth & potential. We currently provide services to the New York Metropolitan area and Long Island, but are available and expanding to outside this region as well. We move forward to design workshops and programs that assist youth from the elementary level to the university level in achieving positive outcomes in self-esteem, school performance, career planning, linking their lives today with future success, and addressing issues significant to young people.

With a team of professionals that have over 50 years of combined youth development experience, we have created and are excited to bring you WOO – a combination of innovative programs and services to the youth of the communities we serve. There are many programs that WOO can provide that may be tailored to fit the needs of any school, after school, or youth based agency or community. All WOO programs are created to address the multitude of needs and issues that today's youth are facing. WOO offers a wide range of programs that focus on individual diversity & provides empowering services, leadership training, support, guidance and assistance to those who seek it, with the sole intent of preparing our youth for a healthier transition into their future.

WOO looks forward to working in your schools and programs and in collaboration with the many phenomenal professionals doing youth work in our communities.
